Description Google Scholar searches for articles, theses, books, and abstracts from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and other scholarly organizations. Be aware that journal coverage is unknown so it should never be the only database you search. Links to full-text will display via 'Warwick access' after you have set your institutional preferences in Settings.

Advisory note
SETTING WARWICK ACCESS
You can quickly identify which articles you have full text access to as a Warwick student/staff member by setting up 'Warwick access' links. Click on Settings then Library Links, type warwick and click on search button. Tick the box against University of Warwick Library - Warwick access. Then Save. From now on look for the 'Warwick access' message alongside article results.
MY LIBRARY
Google Scholar's My Library enables you to save article results into folders (requires Google login).
SINCE YEAR FILTERS
Google Scholar takes the number of citations into account in its relevance ranking of results. Make use of the 'Since year' filters to see recent articles that have not had time to be cited much.
ENDNOTE
You can export directly to EndNote and EndNoteWeb from Google Scholar.
