International Historical Statistics (IHS) is collection of statistical data on the Americas, Europe, and Africa, Asia and Oceania covering the years 1750-2010 (updated to 2010 wherever possible). It is a unique collection covering a wide range of socioeconomic topics including sociology, politics, history, economics, business, environment, international relations, geography and statistical studies. IHS is structured in three broad geographical divisions and ten themes: Africa / Asia / Oceania, The Americas and Europe. The ten themes are: Population and vital statistics - Labour force - Agriculture - Industry - External trade - Transport and communications - Finance - Commodity prices - Education - National accounts.
